We need volunteers, donations and people to spread the word. If you can help, please let us know via the feedback form.

Volunteers

We need volunteers to attend township and community meetings, knock on doors, attend the hearings, make phone calls and anything else that will help our cause.

Donations

No donation is too small. Currently we are only accepting monetary donations. Keep in mind that because we are a 'lobbying' organization, your contribution is not deductible as charity. However, some businesses may deduct their contributions as goodwill. Check with your tax advisor. Contact us via the feedback form and we will provide a mailing address. Make checks payable to "Keep the Vision"

Spread the word

Let people know about this issue. If we lose now, these billboards will be in our community for a long time. Here are some points to consider:

	Once billboards go up, they rarely come down.
	These things are larger than many houses.
	As the population increases, billboards will encroach on new territory. Even if they aren't in your area now, it is in your interest to join the fight.
	Safety. A vehicle doing 55 MPH will travel about 240 feet if the driver is distracted by a billboard for just 3 seconds.

Get involved with your community.

Billboards encroach incrementally. They end up in communities before the community has a chance to react. Many communities lack the legislation necessary to control billboards. Communities, especially suburban communities, need to work now to insure that they can adequately control billboards. Make sure that your local government understands the issues and that they review the local ordinances. Once the billboard companies get to the zoning board hearings, it's usually too late.
